Vallilan Salaisuus: urban infill

Vallilan Salaisuus: urban infill

As part of the urban infill development of Vallila, Pohjola Rakennus commissioned two 14- and 12-story residential towers, three 8-story residential buildings and a separate parking facility from city planning phase to construction. The buildings were positioned to create new urban street spaces and offer views of the city and the adjacent park, while retaining St. Paul's Church as the landmark of the area. The distinct massing and color scheme of the buildings adapts to the surroundings in a modern way.

Office

Our work includes developing, studying and producing architectural projects that answer the client’s needs in a unique, cost-efficient, rational and aesthetically pleasing synthesis.

The design process consists of analysing the special features of each site and program. Our Architecture grows from hard work and a high level of commitment. We believe that the only way to build sustainable cities and buildings is to use real solid materials, solve all the functions in a flawless way and give every space and building its own unique appearance – a soul.
