Spa Hotel Tower Savonlinna

The competition task was to build a new hotel extension and a land mark to the town of Savonlinna. The concept was to create a connection to the existing landmark, Olavinlinna castle. The new tower was seen as a modern interpretation of medieval walls. All the apartments and hotel rooms had open views to the surrounding lake landscape.
